Weekly Media Investment Input: Enhanced Precision in Simulation

We’re thrilled to introduce the Weekly Media Investment Input feature to the Simulator, taking granular control of your simulations to a whole new level. With this enhancement, users can now define and adjust media investments on a weekly basis, aligning simulations with real-world media plans for more accurate and actionable insights.

Key Benefits and Enhancements

1. Granular Control:
   • Define precise weekly media investments instead of relying on aggregated values for the entire simulation period.
   • Align simulations with real-world campaign dynamics, reflecting weekly fluctuations in media plans.
2. Excel Integration:
   • Export media investment variables into an Excel template for seamless offline editing.
   • Edit weekly values directly in Excel, ensuring flexibility and ease of use.
   • Re-import the updated file back into the Simulator to reflect changes instantly.
3. Enhanced Usability:
   • Address previous limitations where baseline values of zero restricted input adjustments.
   • Provide users with full flexibility to modify investments without constraints.

Exporting Media Variables

• Users can easily select media investment variables and export them into an Excel file.
• The exported file provides clear instructions and a structured format for input adjustments.

Editing Weekly Inputs

• Modify weekly media investments in the "Media Input" tab of the downloaded Excel file.
• Adhere to the guidelines provided in the "Overview" tab to ensure data accuracy.

Importing Adjustments

• Re-import the updated Excel file to apply the changes in the Simulator.
• The system validates the file to ensure compatibility, providing error messages for any discrepancies.

Interaction with Aggregated Input

• When weekly input is defined, aggregated inputs for the same variable become non-editable to maintain data consistency.
• A reset option is available to clear weekly inputs and revert to aggregated values if needed.

Evolution Over Time Chart Enhancement

This release introduces an improvement to the Evolution Over Time chart in the Simulator's detailed results, designed to enhance user interaction and provide better visualization insights.

• Hover Interaction for Media and Non-Media Groupings:
   When users hover over any media or non-media grouping within the chart, the respective grouping will be highlighted. This visual cue helps users easily identify and analyse individual group contributions in the chart.

This enhancement simplifies chart analysis, providing users with a more interactive and efficient way to interpret detailed results.
